This position will require testing and inspection of various construction materials including soils, concrete, and pile monitoring.
- Contact dispatcher/coordinator for priorities and deadlines in both the field and laboratory.
- Meet with contractor’s supervisors, engineer/architect representatives, or other project leaders on project sites to discuss and coordinate testing, sampling, or inspection of construction materials or construction procedures.
- Ensure the safe utilization, storage, and maintenance of all nuclear gauges.
- Update supervisor and dispatcher on progress and delays on every project.
- Ensure safe usage and maintenance of individually assigned company vehicles, field, and laboratory equipment.
- Meet established project deadlines.
- Submit accurate and complete testing/inspection reports on a daily basis.
- Understand, adhere and participate in Health and Safety and (BBS) Behavior-Based Safety Programs and set a good safety example.
- Lift and carry up to 65 pounds including, but not limited to tools, sample containers, and equipment.
