The Data Administrator will perform defined process chains for the quality assurance of multiple types of operations and drilling data leading up to data products for both internal and external client use. The Analyst will assist in procedural recommendations to improve the function and efficiency of these process chains.
Description
- Collate data from directional drilling and MWD operations sources
- Report data issues and errors back to data owners and assist in mediation
- Run several internal proprietaries and third-party software packages
- Assist in curating data for daily operations reporting and client performance reviews
Requirements
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience with Directional Drilling or other oilfield related Operations data sets
- Some exposure to scripting with SQL, Matlab, or Python
- Technical, Associates, or Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
