Brief Description:
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder for a night shift position in Waller, TX. This role focuses on MIG and flux core welding in a heavy fabrication environment working with carbon steel pipe and structural components. The ideal candidate must be experienced in both structural and pipe welding and able to pass a 6G weld test. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with steady hours and the potential for long-term placement.
Detailed Description:

Perform MIG and flux core welding on carbon steel materials.

Weld structural components such as skids, beams, and plates.

Execute precision pipe welding on 4″ carbon steel pipe using 6G or 1G rollout techniques.

Complete 3F/4F welds and full bead runs on all weld faces.

Operate within a night shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM, with occasional Saturdays.

Maintain high standards of weld integrity and appearance, passing all visual inspections.

Support a mix of approximately 80% pipe welding and 20% structural welding work.

Demonstrate flexibility in handling both structural and pipe assignments based on workload.
Job Requirements:
