Supply Chain Manager

Brief Description:

We are looking for a results-driven Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in manufacturing engineering and high-volume production environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing lean manufacturing systems, especially the Toyota Production System (TPS), to improve material flow, reduce inventory, and increase throughput. This leadership role offers the opportunity to directly influence operational efficiency and supplier performance through strategic supply chain execution.

Detailed Description:

  • Mentor value streams in the use of TPS principles for lean supply chain improvements.

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies for high-volume manufacturing and JIT (Just in Time) delivery models.

  • Forecast demand and build detailed inventory plans using lean methodologies and data-driven analysis.

  • Manage both local and global vendors to support material availability and uphold supplier quality.

  • Lead robust cycle counting programs to ensure inventory accuracy and visibility.

  • Standardize and enforce supplier quality practices to align with production goals.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for quality and compliance audits.

  • Identify risks across the supply chain and lead mitigation planning and execution.

  • Oversee receiving, internal material movement, stockroom processes, and outbound shipping.

  • Track and drive improvements in KPIs such as inventory turnover, on-time delivery, and uptime performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Expertise in lean systems, including Toyota Production System (TPS) or similar methodologies.

  • Strong background in supply chain strategy, inventory management, and vendor relations.

  • Experience with JIT models and continuous improvement programs.

  • Ability to manage day-to-day logistics, warehouse, and shipping operations.

  • Proficiency with supply chain KPIs and data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of supply chain or operations management experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing or mentoring teams in TPS-based systems.

  • Prior leadership of global vendor networks and quality management programs.

  • Background in regulated industries with quality and compliance requirements.
