The position of Production Supervisor serves as the backbone of our firm. This person is responsible for executing repairs to our end customer’s residence or building. A Production Supervisor must possess a well-rounded knowledge of and be fully competent of construction. They must be able to treat our customers with respect during what is likely a very emotional time in their life. They will obtain a scope of work from the respective job’s Project Manager. They will also work with the respective job’s Project Manager to develop a realistic and useable budget. Additionally, the Production Supervisor will generate a schedule for the projects over $100K. The Project Supervisor is held to complete the work as scoped and within the budget provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Complete initial walkthrough of the project with the project manager (Pre-Launch)
• Note any changes as discussed during this walkthrough
If the Project Supervisor senses an issue with a particular job or client, they should raise this concern to their Production Manager and/or their manager.
• Maintain work schedule on jobs >$100K
• Engage subcontractors
• Negotiate subcontractor’s fees
• Manage job budget (buy out project)
• Purchase materials, supplies and etc.
• Supervise subcontractors and sub-subcontractors
• Manage job in an orderly and clean environment
• Ensure that we are meeting the job and client’s expectations
• Secure selections from customers on a selection sheet
• Complete punch out and secure final documents (respective Certificate of Satisfaction) from client
• Handle any and all future warranty claims
• Ensure that safety protocols as dictated in the employee and safety manual and any other specific job safety requirements (roofing protocol) are met 100% of the time
• Review and approve subcontractor material invoices
• Maintain job costs
• Follow Local rules and regulations
